STUDENTS' COUNCIL

A school council, also known as a student council, is a representative body of students within a school that works to enhance the school environment, promote positive change, and act as a bridge of communication between students, teachers, and school administrators. The purpose of a school council is to ensure that students have a voice in the decision-making processes that affect their educational experience and school community. The school council consists of student representatives elected or appointed by their peers to voice the concerns and ideas of the student body. Acting as a liaison between students, teachers, staff, and school administration to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Advocating for the rights and needs of students, addressing concerns, and suggesting improvements in the school's policies, procedures, and overall environment. Identifying challenges and issues faced by students and working collectively to propose solutions and improvements. Organizing and coordinating events, activities, fundraisers, and projects that contribute to the school community and foster a sense of unity among students.
